When Was the Last Time You Went to Church?
Genia: I dropped someone off at church about a year ago. Before that, I hadn’t been anywhere near a church parking lot in about eight years. I consider myself a spiritual person, not a religious one. Organized religion seems very rigid and oppressive. I prefer talking to Jesus when I’m in the shower.
Andrea: I went last Christmas with my family. I consider myself to be more of a spiritual person rather then a religious person. I have always had a deep spiritual connection while enjoying the outdoors. My love of biking, hiking, and just enjoying nature has been a great opportunity to get in touch with the spiritual energy I feel when I’m outside.

I’ve never been regularly. I have attended exactly one service- it was a Catholic service in Bangalore, India. It was a lovely experience. That was in May 2008.
I almost when this past sunday. Great Gram asked me (she is my sister’s great gram in-law… i feel no obligation) on Saturday and I told her to let me think about it. After I fretted over it all night, Sunday morning when I called to say that I would go with her, she said that “it’s too cold outside, it frosted overnight” so she wasn’t going. Would have been my 1st time in about 3yrs.
I would go for the pure comedy of it all. I too consider my self more spiritual than anything, but I’m more attached to generally putting out good energy… so I can get it back.
I went to church Thursday (thats where we brought the New Year in at) and the Sunday before. I try to go every Sunday that I have off because that’s how “I” feel. I only like to go to holiness and fire baptized churches. When the subject of homosexuality comes up, the congregation is uncomfortable because they don’t know how I’m gonna react! There are always services about the “so called christians” that come to church every service and thinks that’s their way to GOD!
